Cove Hardware might get some competition
It's suspected that there have been a few people sniffing around Cove, looking at the old Cove Hardware and Grocery lately.

What would be nice, however, if they would turn it into a really good pizza joint. Maybe a pool hall with some beers? What do you guys think?

Funny, I and a friend of mine was looking at it around the time of this post.my wife and I recently moved to Cove from Florida. I've done everything from rehab houses to set up the first hard facing foundry I worked at. I got a few rehabs left in me but wanted to set up some small casting, blacksmith, and fabrication facilities on our current property. Not so much as a commercial enterprise, but more hobby. I saw it was for sale for a very short time online, but the listing has totally disappeared. The property's past seems to have some great memories for many of the locals. What Cove doesn't need in my opinion is any competition for what it already has. If it's for sale id like to talk to the owner. If anyone knows the status if it's for sale Id like to contact them. It would be a great building to preserve and fix up. The place in central Florida I moved from has destroyed some of its most iconic properties to just build parking lots and some of the ugliest cube shaped earth tone buildings I have ever seen.
